Airplane Adventure Baby Shower

Last weekend I hosted the sweetest boy themed baby shower for my beautiful Aunt!

I was honestly so happy to be able to give her something special for her and her second baby boy.

She decided to go with an Airplane theme which was super fun and I had TONS of ideas for this!

I save almost all my party decor that I purchase so that I am not spending tons and tons of money each year for parties. My MIL and I have a huge stockpile of decor, candy jars, table clothes, hand made banners, pennants, everything!

This usually only leaves me with a few more things to buy for each party!

Since my cousin still doesn’t have a name I had to go with the last name for the Airline ;).

We have used Nicki with “The Cupcake Cafe” for all of our parties here in Phoenix, AZ for a little over a year now and she is amazing. We have a few gluten free family members so I always order the GF cake and I honestly cannot tell a difference from the real thing!

As one of the “games” I had our guest write down a personal memory they had with my Aunt. She then had to read them aloud and guess who wrote the memory!

For party favors I used these boxes my MIL previously purchased at Hobby Lobby and let the guests fill them up with treats from the candy bar. It was the “Baggage Claim” station.

I also found the cutest little travel tags on Etsy. They’re from “Rustic Elegance 18” shop. She was able to customize them for me too and I added them to the boxes with burlap string.

One of my most favorite parts of the shower was having my hubs hang this vintage airplane. It was actually his Grandma’s from IL and it ended up here in AZ… it worked perfectly!

The burlap runners work for almost every party theme I have done. I always save them and just keep stockpiling 🙂

I can’t wait to meet my newest baby cousin!

Love always,
