Happy Saturday, friends!
Yesterday, my girlies and I worked on a cute little Valentines Day craft together and we had a lot of fun!
I usually have a habit to stray away from the crafts for my own selfish reasons…
- Glitter/Glue= Mess
- More mess
But……… I made a promise to myself at the beginning of the year to start embracing all things motherhood (including the aggravating moments of spilled glitter, etc). You can read a little more about that here.
I honestly have just come to a place in my life where I had to make a choice to change my mind set to see the positive during the hard (mommy) times. I was starting to make myself go crazy… I mean crazy, and even though getting my littles together to do this project was likely going to cause some type of bickering over “who got to do what”, I followed through anyways and we all absolutely loved it!
It was super simple and I already had everything here at home.
The girls loved having their little feet painted. Brooklyn giggled and Harper wasn’t quite sure what I was doing… she just wanted her foot back to see what was going on.
Honestly, as the girls are getting older it is getting SO fun to do these kinds of activities with them. They are learning to understand holidays and that some kind of “celebration” is getting close! If my girls are anything like me, they love getting to decorate for a party!
This moment was a classic with Harper in the background, I wonder if she found anything in there?
Enjoy your weekend with your beautiful families and let you love grow FOOT by FOOT for each other!
